How can the CEO / shareholder maximize the value of his company?

  • He initiates a corporate scan with CIC; we conduct several rounds of talks with the entrepreneur and determine the position of the company.
  • Our own strategic research will determine the best options for the company, as well as the major focus points for valuation of the company.
  • After these conclusions have been presented to and discussed with the entrepreneur a selection will be made from the available options. These options can vary widely, from a takeover of the company to participation of a third party, merger or even public offering.
  • Depending on the preferred option CIC and the company will discuss what actions regarding management and organisation have to be taken to be able to achieve the goals that have been agreed.
  • The role of CIC during the rest of the process is determined. This can be an advisory role or consist of actual management support.
  • CIC can support the company and the entrepreneur in case of almost any possible option, and during the whole process. Usually there will be active participation with other advisors of the company, like the accountant and the fiscal advisor.
  • CIC might be prepared to accept a success fee rather than fixed fees. In such a case the targets of our involvement should be clearly defined
